Provide customer service by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and following site-specific security-related procedures for a higher education location;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant activity to the appropriate contacts;
Control entry and exit of students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors while helping to support authorized access and documenting unusual activity;
Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
