Sentara Health – Armed Security Officer – Norfolk, VA
Sentara Health is hiring an Armed Security Officer for Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, in Norfolk, VA. This is a Full‑time position with a day shift schedule.
Responsibilities include monitoring security systems and performing duties of Officer Security when directed. Works both swing shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) and grave shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a DoW SCI environment.
- Regional Cognizant Security Authority Norfolk SSO-SSR Professional Training (additional details to be provided).
