Security Officer Part Time Checkpoint

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service by monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and following site‑specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, report relevant activity to the appropriate contacts.
• Control entry and exit of students, staff, visitors, and vendors while documenting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned buildings, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws; may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
