Security Officer

Allied Universal seeks a part-time Armed Security Officer to provide visible patrol and deterrence at client sites. In this role, you will conduct foot and vehicle patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms and incidents, and write clear incident and daily activity reports. You will enforce site rules, observe and report safety or security hazards, and support emergency response procedures. Officers must maintain a professional appearance, deliver courteous customer service, and follow strict safety, firearm, and use-of-force policies while working closely with site supervisors and public safety partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular armed foot and vehicle patrols to deter crime and unsafe activity
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access control systems
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
• Document events through clear incident and daily activity reports
• Enforce client policies and site-specific post orders
• Observe and report safety and security hazards to supervisors
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and employees
• Follow firearm safety, use-of-force, and de-escalation protocols
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when needed
• Participate in ongoing security and firearms training
