HVAC Mechanic (Maintenance)

LB&B Associates is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic to support our contract located in Norfolk, VA (Courthouse). Working days/hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Hourly pay rate: $32.00 per hour. Health & welfare pay: $1,211 per month (per CBA). Additional benefits include vacation, sick leave, paid holidays and pension plan per the collective bargaining agreement.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems.
- Operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience working on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.
- General maintenance knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- High school diploma or G.E.D required.
- Universal EPA or CFC certification required.
- Technical training in HVAC highly desired.
