We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrical Technician with a strong electrical background to support work on U.S. Navy aircraft carriers
, both in-service and under construction.
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on aircraft carrier systems.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues across multiple shipboard systems.
- Work extensively with:
- PLC systems (Rockwell) — advanced knowledge preferred
- Electric motors, limit switches, and proximity switches
- Multipin connectors (including building plugs for control panels)
- Vertical package conveyors
- Hangar doors and cableway installations
- Conduct enterprise testing, including work with solenoids.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet schedules and quality requirements.
- Support carrier platforms including CVN-70, CVN-71, CVN-72, with future work on CVN-79.
- OSHA 10 Maritime Certification (required).
- Strong electrical background; mechanical experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Rockwell PLC systems.
- Knowledge of electric motors and control systems.
- Experience with multipin connectors (certification preferred).
- Cableway installation experience preferred.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in shipyard and carrier environments.
