Lead Fire Alarm Technician – Join a growing fire protection team serving commercial clients throughout Virginia and eastern North Carolina. • Test and inspect commercial fire alarm systems
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair systems to meet NFPA and local code standards
• Perform scheduled inspections and respond to service requests
• Complete detailed and accurate inspection and service documentation
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings and recommended repairs
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency service

• Demonstrated experience servicing and troubleshooting commercial fire alarm systems
• Ability to test and service systems including Simplex, Notifier, and Fire‑Lite
• Working knowledge of NFPA inspection requirements and compliance standards
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Clear written documentation and organized service reporting
• Professional customer communication skills

• NICET certification
• Experience servicing special‑hazard suppression systems such as FM200 or Halon
• Advanced system diagnostics and repair expertise

• Valid driver’s license with strong driving record
• Ability to work on ladders (6–12 ft) and lifts
• Comfortable working overhead and in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
• Availability for scheduled on‑call rotation

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience

• Time and a half for hours worked between 6:00pm and 5:00am
• 4‑hour minimum at time and a half for emergency service calls
• 4‑hour minimum at double time for holiday emergency calls plus 8 hours of holiday pay
