- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on shipboard electronics systems under supervision
- Assist with troubleshooting of power, signal, and connectivity issues in C4
ISR and communications systems - Support installation, modification, and repair of electronics equipment, cabling, and associated infrastructure
- Execute multipin connector terminations and cable maintenance IAW NAVSEA standards
- Assist with system testing, verification, and documentation
- Read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and work packages (SCDs, LARs, CTWDs)
- Maintain compliance with shipyard safety, QA, and tool control requirements
- Support generation of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) as required
- 2-4 years of electronics maintenance or installation experience in DoD, shipboard, industrial, or field environments
- Basic understanding of shipboard electronics systems and maintenance practices
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience with connectors, cabling, and basic electronic test equipment (DMMs, continuity testers, etc.)
- Ability to obtain CAC / Public Trust and shipyard access
- Prior shipboard experience (CVN, LHD, LHA, DDG, or submarine)
- NAVSEA cableway installation or maintenance experience
- Multipin connector certification or equivalent hands‑on experience
- Fiber optic maintenance or installation experience (bonus, not required)
- Previous NIWC, CTII, or PEO C4I program exposure
