Position: Marine Technician Bethel Harbor Large multifaceted marine facility encompassing 40 acres.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine mechanics and be proficient in various technical skills necessary for the maintenance and repair of marine vessels. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Duties
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines and systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
  • Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
  • Use measuring instruments such as calipers and ohmmeters to assess equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical support during customer interactions.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the shop or on-site.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Marine Technician or in a similar mechanical role preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic mechanical skills required.
  • Familiarity with marine systems, including electrical, mechanical, and propulsion systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and customers.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
  • Relevant certifications or training in marine technology is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
