CTR Group is seeking a Shop Sheet metal Mechanic local to the Norfolk, VA area. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

Based on experience

• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Use a variety of hand tools and power tools/equipment to include drills, rivet guns, grinders, miter saws, band saws, nibblers, plasma arc cutters, rollers, shears, press brakes fabricators.
• Measure, cut, shape, and join metal sheets using methods like welding, soldering, or riveting.
• Align structural and reinforcing iron and steel vertically and horizontally, using tag lines, plumb bobs, lasers, and levels.
• Connect iron and steel with bolts, wire, or welds.
• Prepare and install foundations and lockers.
• Must be able to operate hand brake, power rollers, hand rollers, general sheet metal fabrication equipment.
