The City of Norfolk is seeking an Equipment Operator III within the Department of Public Works to operate heavy construction equipment and support storm water maintenance crews.
You will drive and operate street sweepers, dump trucks, backhoes, and vacuum trucks, perform routine maintenance, and assist with BMP projects while following safety standards and city guidelines. The position requires a valid CDL and may involve supervising field crews on occasion.
