We are seeking a full‑time Maintenance Technician I (Generalist) to join our team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance tasks across multiple trades to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Maintain common areas, resident units, and outdoor spaces in excellent condition.
- Assist with unit turnovers, including minor repairs, cleaning, and preparation for new residents.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and community policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- 1–3 years of general maintenance experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills, especially when interacting with senior residents.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, bending, climbing, etc.).
- Valid driver’s license required.
