US Department of Defense - 9324 Virginia Avenue - Responsibilities:
Operate hydraulic boom cranes to load, unload, move, and position heavy materials and equipment;
Make critical decisions regarding clearance requirements and dangerous load situations to ensure safe operations;
Apply crane controls to judge lifting capacity in areas with restricted maneuverability;
Follow safety and housekeeping rules and use personal protective equipment;
Complete the Operator's Daily Checklist documenting pre- and post-crane inspections
