HVAC Service Technician (Vets to Techs

The HVAC Service Technician III is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Commercial HVAC systems. This role involves leading/supporting a team of technicians, managing projects, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients.

• System Installation and Repair:
  Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
• Troubleshooting:
  Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
• Electrical Knowledge:
  Understanding of electrical systems and components.
• Blueprint Reading:
  Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Knowledge of Codes and Regulations:

Pay: $30.00/hr - $45.00/hr the pay listed is the hourly range for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

• Candidate will service clients in the local market.
• Installation and Maintenance:
  Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:
  Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems efficiently.
• Project Management:
  Oversee HVAC projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Team Leadership:
  Lead and mentor a team of HVAC technicians, providing guidance and support.
• Customer Service:
  Maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and providing excellent service.
• Compliance:
  Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of service and installation activities.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5-7 years of commercial experience in HVAC service, troubleshooting and PMs / maintenance service agreements.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred.
• Certifications:
  
  Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA certification) are highly desirable.
• Skills:
  
  Strong troubleshooting, project management, and leadership skills. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using HVAC software.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Driver’s License:
  Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Background Check:
  Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening (including a criminal background check, drug test, and MVR).
