Job Description
MULTIPLE POSITIONS WILL BE FILLED FROM THIS RECRUITMENT The individual in this position is expected to perform duties within the Transportation and Parking Services Department with the primary responsibility being to write citations on vehicles found in violation of University Transportation and Parking Services regulations. The individual will disseminate parking and other directory information while in the field and occasionally working special events.

Working knowledge of mobile devices (e.g. iPads) and associated software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Some experience in a customer relations type position.
Demonstrated ability to interpret parking regulations.
Demonstrated ability to work outside during inclement weather conditions.
Demonstrated ability to lift 20 pounds.
Demonstrated ability to read and write the English language.
Special licenses, registration or certification
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Some experience in a customer relations type position.
Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification)
High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Conditions of Employment
Hourly (wage) employees are restricted to working 29 hours per week on average or 1500 hours in total in the May 1 - April 30 period. This position does not have health insurance, retirement or leave.
Annual Salary/Hourly Rate
Salary is commensurate with education and experience and begins at $ - 14.62
