Offshore Asset Coordinator (Contract) — Offshore Wind Project
We are hiring an Offshore Asset Coordinator to support an ongoing offshore renewable wind project based in Norfolk, VA. This is a contract role with a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation, open to candidates willing to work night shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipments to support service contract execution
- Arrange shipping and imports with proper customs documentation to prevent delivery delays
- Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and consumables (onshore and offshore)
- Support and supervise lifting operations for load-out and mobilization of personnel, materials, and equipment
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments and report discrepancies or damage
- Ensure technicians have the correct equipment and PPE for offshore work
- Follow company HSE policies and maintain a strong safety-first approach
Requirements:
- US Citizen/PR, Non-US with B1 OCS Visa for wind activity
- Experience of working as a Storekeeper / Logistics Coordinator onsite for WTG projects, ideally 1+ years
- Strong understanding of logistical and warehousing processes
- Knowledge of stores and warehouse procedures
- Training on PPE inspection
- Large Warehouse experience
- Certifications:
GWO and OGUK + Chester Step Test, rigging (ideal) - Lifting inspection qualifications would be desirable, but training will be provided
