Huntleigh USA is seeking customer service–focused professionals to join our team as Wheelchair Agents at Norfolk International Airport. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting passengers with reduced mobility while supporting a safe, efficient, and welcoming airport environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Escort passengers in wheelchairs throughout the airport, including terminals, checkpoints, and gate areas
- Provide courteous, respectful assistance to passengers, ensuring comfort and ease throughout their travel experience
- Maintain timely communication with dispatchers, gate agents, and airline personnel
- Comply with all TSA, airport, and company safety and security policies
- Accurately record passenger interactions and document any incidents as required
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing Huntleigh USA
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and remain on your feet for the entirety of the shift
- Ability to bend, squat, push, and stand for prolonged periods
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English
- Reliable transportation and dependable contact information
- Ability to successfully complete required drug and alcohol screenings (DOT/Non-DOT)
- High school diploma or GED (required in select locations)
- Paid training provided by Huntleigh USA and partnering airlines
- Professional appearance required: company-issued uniform, neat grooming, no visible tattoos above the neck or below the wrist, and no facial piercings
