Job Description
We are seeking a skilled A&P Mechanic to join our airline maintenance crew team at Norfolk International Airport. This role involves performing line maintenance and AOG for various commercial aircraft such as ERJs, CRJs, and 737s. The primary focus is on turn maintenance, ensuring aircraft are quickly and efficiently returned to service.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance for airline clients at the airport.
- Conduct tire changes, inspections, and troubleshooting on aircraft.
- Complete necessary maintenance tasks to ensure aircraft are operational.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years of A&P experience.
- Current A&P license.
- Experience in line maintenance for airlines.
- Valid driver's license for obtaining a SIDA badge.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Airline line maintenance experience preferred.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.

Work Environment
The role operates on a 4/10 hour shift schedule with rotational night shifts from 8 PM to 7 AM (Sunday through Wednesday). Initial weeks involve Monday to Friday shifts from 8 AM to 4:30 PM for airport training and SIDA badging, potentially lasting 2-3 weeks before transitioning to the regular schedule.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
