Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Warehouse Lead to join our team in Norfolk on a week shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm). Land 'N' Sea Distributing is a full-service, wholesale distributor serving the Marine and RV industries for over 50 years. With thousands of parts and accessories available from warehouses nationwide, Land 'N' Sea provides fast, efficient delivery throughout the US and Canada.
In collaboration with Mercury Marine’s Latin America and Caribbean division, Land 'N' Sea serves over 60 additional countries worldwide.

Essential Functions- Lead pickers/packers to ship orders in accordance with company deadlines.
- Communicate daily with Shipping Supervisors on concerns, issues, or questions.
- Print orders and sort them into proper zones by priority.
- Train and lead employees on proper picking and packing procedures.
- Delegate work to shipping staff, ensure tasks are completed; assist with other areas as needed.
- Follow up with shipping staff to ensure procedures are followed and areas are organized and clean.
- Coordinate with receiving staff to avoid stock issues; research pick errors with Shipping Supervisor.
- Work across all shipping areas: picking, packing, ship station, running orders, and manifests.
- Lead dock personnel in offloading trucks and organizing P.O.s on the dock or racks.
- Communicate daily with Receiving Supervisor; maintain the Receiving Log and train staff on receiving procedures.
- Ensure dock and receiving areas are organized and clean; manage zero stock issues where applicable.
- Research exceptions on receivers through spot checks and enter receivers into the system.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- dependable attendance and teamwork skills.
- Prior forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Basic computer skills helpful.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus.

Working ConditionsWhile performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move objects. Work may involve lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. The warehouse environment can be hot, cold, or dusty, and may include exposure to elevated areas.
Compensation and BenefitsAnticipated starting pay range: $16.00–$23.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, and location.
