Warehouse Clerk

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Clerk to join our team in Norfolk, on Day Shift (Sunday through Thursday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm). Land 'N' Sea Distributing is a full‑service, wholesale‑only distributor serving the Marine and RV industries for over 50 years. We pride ourselves on fast, efficient delivery throughout the US and Canada.

• Operate forklift or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse and work areas.
• Comply with all quality standards and policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including cleaning/maintaining equipment, work areas, and performing safety inspections.

• Accurate picking, packing, and shipment of various sized parts to support quick turnaround of orders.
• Fill orders by removing the correct parts from the shelf, identifying part numbers and proper quantity.
• Determine method of shipment and pack accordingly.
• Count, weigh, measure or examine packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.

• Receive and unpack merchandise and supplies and verify accuracy of deliveries.
• Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
• Confirm proper location of merchandise.
• Ensure production area organization and cleanliness.
• Stock shelves by placing material in appropriate locations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable attendance and teamwork.
• Prior forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
• Basic computer skills helpful.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.

Working Conditions:

Duties require standing, walking, bending, stooping, balancing, and using arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials. Walkways are concrete and/or metal grating. Employees may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. Exposure to high, precarious places may occur. The warehouse environment can be hot, cold, or dusty.

The anticipated starting pay range is $16.00 to $21.00 per hour. Final base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, and location.
