About Brucha

Brucha is a leading European manufacturer of insulated metal panels with more than 75 years of building product innovation. Brucha Corp, the company's U.S. operation, is scaling rapidly to serve the North American market — including the launch of a new distribution warehouse that will transform how we receive, stage, and deliver product to customers across the country. This role is central to that transformation.

Position

Summary

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager owns two connected missions: standing up Brucha Corp's new distribution warehouse and running the company's end-to-end domestic logistics operation. In the near term, this means building the warehouse from the ground up — supplies and equipment, receiving and inventory processes, safety program, and staffing. Ongoing, it means managing inbound container logistics from port of entry through final delivery, operating the warehouse as a reliable link in the fulfillment chain, and serving as the accountable owner of logistics performance, cost, and carrier relationships.

This is a builder's role. The right candidate is equally comfortable designing a process that doesn't exist yet and driving a forklift when the day requires it. You will inherit an established logistics framework — freight forwarders, customs brokers, drayage and over-the-road carriers — and be expected to operate it, improve it, and integrate it with the new warehouse.

Key Responsibilities Warehouse Standup (Phase
1)
  • Lead physical buildout readiness: floor layout, material handling equipment, dock operations, signage, and storage design suited to insulated metal panels, trims, and accessories.
  • Establish core warehouse processes: receiving, inspection, put-away, inventory control, picking, staging, and outbound loading.
  • Configure and operate warehouse inventory workflows in Odoo (company system of record), ensuring physical inventory and system records stay aligned.
  • Build the site safety program: OSHA compliance, forklift certification, unloading procedures, and incident reporting.
  • Define staffing plan and hire, train, and supervise warehouse personnel as volume requires.
Warehouse Operations (Ongoing)
  • Own day-to-day warehouse performance: receiving accuracy, inventory integrity, order fulfillment, cycle counts, and housekeeping standards.
  • Manage staged-delivery programs where project logistics require distribution center routing rather than direct-to-site delivery.
  • Document damage, shortages, and discrepancies at receipt in accordance with company claims procedures, and support claim resolution with carriers and insurers.
  • Maintain facility, equipment, and vendor service relationships (MHE, supplies, facility services).
Logistics Management
  • Track and manage inbound logistics from Brucha manufacturing in Austria through inland delivery: pre-, main-carriage, drayage, over-the-road, rail, and intermodal transport.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers on container release, transfer, and scheduling.
  • Own carrier selection, rate negotiation, and performance management for domestic transportation.
  • Plan and confirm final-mile deliveries with customers and project teams; verify site readiness and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain shipment milestone visibility in Odoo and flag delays or exceptions to Sales and Operations promptly.
  • Manage logistics cost performance against quoted freight and identify savings opportunities.
Cross-Functional & Systems
  • Serve as logistics point of contact for Sales, Project Management, and headquarters logistics teams.
  • Contribute to and follow documented SOPs; propose revisions when processes change or gaps appear.
  • Provide regular reporting on warehouse and logistics KPIs: on-time delivery, claims frequency, inventory accuracy, and freight cost.
Qualifications Required
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Hands-on experience with inbound container logistics: drayage, OTR trucking, and carrier coordination.
  • Demonstrated…
