OverviewJoin a stable manufacturing company in a high‑impact senior accounting role supporting a major business transition. The role serves as the senior accounting leader supporting local operations and acting as the Controller’s right hand during an extended integration project.

Approx. 6‑9 months (through an integration project completion) - Job Location:
Lacon, IL - Work Schedule:
On‑site initially (~60 days for training), then Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) - Compensation: $40–$50/hr, DOE
- Oversee and review AP and AR processes from start to finish
- Review customer invoicing prior to distribution
- Review and approve vendor invoices
- Perform and manage daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
- Support month‑end accounting activities
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and transactions
- Supervise accounting workflows and external support resources
- Serve as a hands‑on contributor while providing accounting leadership
- Partner closely with the Controller on operational and integration‑related initiatives
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- AR & AP experience
- Public accounting experience
- Construction or manufacturing background
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Flexible, low‑bureaucracy work environment
- High visibility and direct partnership with leadership
- Broad exposure to accounting operations and business management
- Ability to make an immediate impact during a major business transition
- Exposure to manufacturing operations without overly complex accounting processes
