Description

Business Office Specialist I – Full‑time call centre scheduling position at Fort Jesse Imaging Center, Normal, IL. Seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic, compassionate individual who is a strong communicator and enjoys interacting with patients. This day‑shift role will support an energetic, patient‑focused team at our outpatient imaging centre. Fort Jesse Imaging Center and Gale Keeran Center for Women offer a full range of diagnostic and screening radiology services across 50+ communities.

Responsibilities

The Business Office Team collaborates with and leads the Imaging Center team to provide excellent patient care and support operational goals. Responsibilities include welcoming, registering, and coordinating patients; handling phone correspondence; scheduling appointments; managing inventory; and managing medical records. Higher levels include training, supervising, and managing Business Office team members.

Requirements Education
  • High‑school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
  • Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office
