Before Care Supervisor & Teaching Assistant at Mulberry School

Mulberry School is hiring a Before Care Supervisor & Teaching Assistant. The role involves supervising preschool and kindergarten children during the Before Care program, creating a safe and engaging environment, facilitating activities, assisting with classroom transitions, and communicating with staff and families. Qualified candidates may also support daytime classroom activities as a Teaching Assistant.

• Supervise children ages 3-5 during Before Care program hours.
• Facilitate age‑appropriate activities, games, and free play.
• Assist with student arrival and classroom transitions.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and families.
• Follow all school safety procedures and expectations.
• Must have Federal Work Study eligibility for  and be enrolled at Illinois State University.
• Previous experience working with young children is required.
• Pay rate ranges from $16 to $17 per hour.
• Position hours are Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 9:00 AM, with 15-20 hours per week.
• Position is subject to federal background checks and university employment eligibility requirements.
