Job Overview
Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist to join our established Pathology team at Carle Bro Menn Medical Center in Bloomington‑Normal, Illinois.
Opportunity Details- PRN position
- New graduates welcome to apply
- Training in both Anatomical and Clinical Pathology required; additional training in Cytopathology preferred but not required
- Work with a team of 2 other BC Pathologists supporting Anatomical and Clinical Pathology laboratory services at one hospital and multiple clinic sites, including an endoscopy center
- General surgical sign‑out including GI, breast, GYN, GU, derm, and head & neck cases, plus frozen sections
- Autopsies not required
- Fully automated clinical laboratory with extensive specialized testing in each lab section
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with Carle Illinois College of Medicine
- BE/BC status in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology
- New graduates with completed training are eligible
- Experience or training in Cytopathology is a plus
The compensation for this position is $2,200 per shift. This represents a good‑faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting. Actual compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
