Position Title:
Special Education Summer School Coordinator (2 positions)
McLean County Unit District No. 5
SummaryThe ESY Coordinators, along with the ESY Director, will oversee the planning required prior to the start of the program and facilitate, coordinate, and supervise the day-to-day operations of ESY.
SchoolsPJHS-ESY Summer Programs:
June 8-June 26th (Monday-Friday) 8:00-1:30, not June 19th
- Assist with the hiring of non-certified staff to fill positions in order to meet the needs of students enrolled in ESY
- Work with Special Education Case Managers to identify students recommended for ESY
- Assist the Director of ESY in creating class lists
- Assist in providing staff training prior to the first day of ESY
- Assist the Director in providing day-to-day supervision, oversight, and support to staff working ESY
- Administrative Licensure or DOSE endorsement preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience desired
- Excellent organizational skills
