Summary:

The Department of Teacher Education and Leadership in the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavioral Sciences at Alabama A & M University seeks one (1) adjunct faculty member to teach courses in the program for Special Education. The M.Ed. program courses are offered on synchronous, asynchronous, and traditional delivery platforms. Interested candidates should submit credentials for evaluation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Teach up to 6 semester hours of graduate courses per semester

* Design courses for online delivery

* Evaluate students' performance in all courses taught

Minimum

Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.):

* A terminal degree in Special Education with cognate of special education.

* Design and teach courses for online delivery.

* Experience teaching K-12 students

* Evaluate students' performance in all courses taught.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Knowledge of graduate level content in the specializations mentioned above

* Ability to interpret research data

* Knowledge of the use of Analytics

* Ability to use Blackboard Collaborate Ultra instructional delivery platform

* Ability to deliver instructions online in synchronous, asynchronous or hybrid modalities
