Job Summary

In anticipation of a possible opening, the Department of History at Illinois State University is creating a pool of applicants who can teach in-person U.S., European, or non-Western history. The History Department serves approximately 500 majors and is composed of approximately 25 TT and NTT faculty. The typical class size ranges from 20 to 88 students.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$1,250 - $1,375 per month per 3 credit hour course.

Required Qualifications

* Master's degree in History

* Candidates must be able to demonstrate oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position, as mandated by state law.

Preferred Qualifications

* Doctorate in History
