Illinois State University is hiring a Tutor for PSY 111 in the Dr. Julia N. Visor Academic Center. The tutor provides weekly small‑group tutoring for lower-level courses, tailoring support to individual student needs and assisting with additional tasks as directed by supervisors. The role supports students' academic success through effective communication and dedicated tutoring services.

• Provide small‑group tutoring weekly for lower‑level courses at Illinois State University.
• Deliver tailored academic support to meet individual student needs.
• Additional duties assigned by graduate assistant supervisors and the Coordinator of Academic Support Services.
• Proficiency in PSY 111 subject area with a grade of A or high B required.
• Overall GPA minimum of 2.80; preference given to candidates with 3.00 GPA and additional course experience.
• Compensation is $15.00 per hour.
• Work 6-15 hours weekly, including possible nights and weekends.
• Must have effective daily communication skills.
• Employment contingent on criminal background check and eligibility verification.
• Student employees eligible for participation in the University’s 403(b) Plan.
