University High School, a service unit of the College of Education at Illinois State University, is hiring an English Teacher. The teacher will instruct English courses to students in grades 9-12 and support the school's mission of linking educational theory to practice, with potential extracurricular duties assigned.

• Teach English courses to high school students (grades 9-12) at University High School.
• Participate in a laboratory school environment focused on educational innovation and research.
• Potential assignment of extracurricular responsibilities.
• Required qualifications:
  
  Bachelor's degree and Type 09 Teaching License or equivalent.
• Preferred qualifications:
  
  Master's degree, minimum three years teaching experience, and interest in research or publication.
• Knowledge and ability to use computers for daily work tasks.
• Work schedule typically Monday to Friday during school hours, with occasional extended hours.
• Compensation ranges from $42,417.50 to $80,000, commensurate with experience.
