Illinois State University is hiring a Tutor for GEO 102. The tutor will provide small-group tutoring weekly for lower-level courses, tailoring support to individual student needs, and assist with other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Highlights- Provide weekly small-group tutoring for lower-level courses at Illinois State University.
- Communicate effectively and tailor assistance based on student needs.
- Work 6-15 hours per week, including some nights and weekends.
- Require an overall GPA of at least 2.80 and a grade of A or high B in the tutoring subject.
- Preference given to candidates with GPA of 3.00 and additional courses in the subject area.
- Hourly pay rate of $15.00.
- Position is within the Dr. Julia N. Visor Academic Center under the Academic Affairs division.
- Student employees eligible for participation in the University’s 403(b) Plan.
- Applicants must complete a criminal background check and comply with employment eligibility verification.
- Required submission of two Tutor Reference forms, including one from faculty in the tutoring subject.
