Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, preferably within a school setting
• Familiarity with supporting students who have visual impairments, or a willingness to learn
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Flexibility to travel between locations within the district as needed for itinerant assignments
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and instructional strategies
• Organized, reliable, and committed to student success

Responsibilities:

• Work side‑by‑side with a TVI, implementing lesson modifications and providing one‑on‑one support for students with visual impairments
• Assist with classroom and remote technology setup, instructional materials, and accommodations
• Travel between sites to deliver services wherever students are assigned within the district
• Maintain documentation and communicate regularly with teaching staff and support teams
• Support a positive, inclusive, and accessible learning atmosphere for all students
• Be prepared to fulfill paraprofessional duties in other district areas when needed
