Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional, preferably within a school setting
- Familiarity with supporting students who have visual impairments, or a willingness to learn
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility to travel between locations within the district as needed for itinerant assignments
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and instructional strategies
- Organized, reliable, and committed to student success
Responsibilities:
- Work side‑by‑side with a TVI, implementing lesson modifications and providing one‑on‑one support for students with visual impairments
- Assist with classroom and remote technology setup, instructional materials, and accommodations
- Travel between sites to deliver services wherever students are assigned within the district
- Maintain documentation and communicate regularly with teaching staff and support teams
- Support a positive, inclusive, and accessible learning atmosphere for all students
- Be prepared to fulfill paraprofessional duties in other district areas when needed
