The Undergraduate Academic Advisor will provide academic and career
advising for undergraduate psychology majors and minors as part of
advising team; assists with recruitment, orientation, enrollment
management, and retention efforts, as well as department events.
Participates in undergraduate administrative planning and supports
student success; helps resolve registration issues for students in all
undergraduate psychology courses; may support other units in the college
as needed.
The Department of Psychology houses a Bachelors program in psychology, a
Masters in Clinical Counseling Psychology program, a Masters in
Psychology program with four sequences, a Specialist in School
Psychology program, and a PhD in School Psychology program. We have
approximately 900 majors and 200 minors, along with 100 graduate
students. There is also a large General Education commitment, serving
students from all over campus.
