Assistant Director of Academic Services

Illinois State University is hiring an Assistant Director of Academic Services. Based in University Assessment Services, the role coordinates institutional and academic-program assessment initiatives through consultation, data analysis, and assessment-systems administration. The assistant director partners closely with academic and administrative units, the Office of the Provost, and other campus partners to advance assessment practices and continuous improvement.

• Coordinate assessment initiatives through consultation, data analysis, and assessment-systems administration.
• Provide leadership and support for institutional assessment, academic-program assessment, and program evaluation.
• Partner with academic and administrative units to develop meaningful assessment processes.
• Foster a culture of evidence-informed decision making that improves student learning and institutional effectiveness.
• Deliver consultation, professional development, data analytics, reporting, and technology solutions for assessment and accreditation activities.
• Work alongside the Office of the Provost and other campus partners to advance continuous improvement.
• Master's degree in education, psychology, research methods, or a related field, plus three or more years of progressively responsible experience in higher education assessment, accreditation, or institutional effectiveness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and assessment tools such as Qualtrics, NVivo, or SPSS.
• Base salary of $71,064 annually.
