Illinois State University is hiring a Substitute Teacher for University High School to provide classroom instruction on a day-to-day basis when regular teachers are absent. The role fills a substitute pool for the academic year and pays a set daily rate rather than a fixed schedule.
Highlights- Deliver academic classroom instruction in place of the regular teacher on assigned days
- Serve School Hours as needed, with assignments varying day to day
- Requires a bachelor's degree
- Requires a valid Illinois teaching certificate or valid Illinois substitute teaching certificate
- Pays $112.50 per day
- Includes time away from work for eligible employees and the option to participate in the University's 403(b) Plan
- Subject to a criminal background investigation before work can begin
- Must submit a resume/C.V., reference list, and work availability as part of the application
