Plc Programmer

As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, programming, integrating, and commissioning PLC-based control systems for automotive production lines. You will ensure compliance standards, customer technical specifications, and safety guidelines, contributing to the successful launch of automation projects at RELANT’s client plants in the United States.

• Install industrial electrical conduit according to blueprints.
• Lay out, identify, and connect electrical wiring.
• Connect control panels, cabinets, and production line equipment.
• Adhere to electrical safety standards and client requirements.
• Report progress, incidents, and material needs.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area.
• Make basic operational decisions for safe execution of tasks.
• Escalate technical or safety deviations to the supervisor.
• May temporarily substitute for other electrical installers at the same level as directed by the supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Electromechanics, or related field.

• PLC programming.
• HMI programming.
• Integration of field devices.
• Troubleshooting automated systems.
• Commissioning of automated lines.
• Reading electrical diagrams and control architecture.
• Familiarity with FAT and SAT testing methodologies (desirable).

• 3–5 years in Siemens PLC programming.
• Experience in automotive plants.
• Commissioning experience in the United States (desirable).
• Experience integrating automated production lines.
