Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to provide support to our assembly line in Peoria with a focus on in-process validation (IPV) integration, wireless gauging, DC tools, and other technical tasks. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong technical aptitude, especially recent graduates with mechanical abilities, who are keen to manage manufacturing engineering calls on the line.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with assembly line support, focusing on IPV integration and technical tasks.

+ Manage manufacturing engineering calls on the line.

+ Work with PFMEA documents from an IPV perspective, focusing on severity, occurrence, and detection.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer in an assembly manufacturing environment.

+ Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, engineering technology, or a related field.

+

Experience with PPAP and/or APQP processes.

+ Proficiency in PFMEA.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to work independently and manage projects autonomously.

+

Experience with AutoCAD, Vision Systems, and DC Tools.

+ Prior CAD experience and ME experience.

+ Exposure to manufacturing processes and assembly experience.

+ Process or industrial engineering backgrounds are considered.

+ Experience working with gauges is a plus.

This position operates on the 1st shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Normal, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $76960.00/hr.
