Travel RRT - 3 12hr Nights REQ: (Full Time)

Location: Normal, IL

• Pay Rate:
  Up to $70/hr combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.

• Assess patients, perform diagnostic tests, provide treatments, manage equipment, educate patients, and document care.

• Effectively evaluate the results of patient respiratory care delivered per care plans.
• Accurately introduce, administer, and chart the effects of routine respiratory therapy and medication administration.
• Accurately set up, maintain, and chart the usage of oxygen therapy, aerosol/humidity therapy and ventilator therapy.
• Provide ventilator support and airway management to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Participate and perform blood gas quality controls per regulatory standards.
• May be trained in endotracheal intubation and arterial line insertion.
• May take a charge role.
• Complete assessments on ventilator patients and all other patients on respiratory care services.
• Process and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Obtain and analyze blood gases – arterial, venous, and capillary.
• Assist in cleaning respiratory care related equipment.
• Assist with stocking respiratory care related supplies on the inpatient care units.

One year of relevant experience.

Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy or Certificate.

• IL RCP License.
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• RRT (NBRC)
