Sign‑on Bonus Available! Relocation bonus available for 1yr+ experience and >50mi. The Echo Technologist oversees technical procedures, patient care and workflows in the echocardiography laboratory. Perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic testing. Assist performing physicians and sonographers in providing high quality echo cardiographic exams.
Qualifications- Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days
- American Heart Association (AHA) - ARDMS or CCI registration within 1 year
- Varies - Education:
Experience in lieu of education;
Associate's Degree in Sonography - Work Experience:
Previous healthcare
- Perform routine and complex echo cardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
- Demonstrate acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment.
- Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
- Document accurately and completely.
- Cross‑train to other divisions of CV Services.
- Administer contrast when needed and not contraindicated.
- Complete documentation of studies performed and charges in Epic as well as complete preliminary info in Xcelera system for physician reading.
- Participate in a rotation of call throughout the week and on weekends with other team members.
- Provide team‑minded, compassionate care and quality studies to the community.
- Perform all forms of Echo testing (Exercise Stress, Dobutamine stress, Trans‑esophageal echoes, pediatric echoes, and trane‑esophageal echoes) in a timely fashion.
- Seek to advance knowledge in all aspects of Echo with an open mind to constructive learning and teaching.
The compensation range for this position is $33.87 per hour - $58.26 per hour. The actual compensation offered to a candidate depends on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked, and compensation model.
