- Provides medical nutrition therapy to inpatients and nutritional expertise to all members of the health care team
- Monitors nutrition care, identifies changes in the patient's nutritional status and monitors progress made
- Mentors students, interns and residents as assigned
- Provides continual monitoring of patients on assigned nursing units to ensure quality of nutrition care services.
- Acts as an educational preceptor to dietetic interns and nutrition students.
- Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Registered Dietitian (RD) - Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Bachelor's Degree:
Related Field (Required)
