Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
The Registered Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Invasive Lab, including cardiac catheterizations, neuro-interventional, peripheral vascular, and interventional radiology.
They produce quality imaging, assist physicians during invasive procedures, and monitor patient hemodynamics using automated techniques.
Key DutiesKey duties include administering contrast, preparing for procedures, circulating and scrubbing in various interventions, managing inventory, verifying patient information, documenting procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Additional ResponsibilitiesThey operate imaging and physiological monitoring equipment, troubleshoot basic issues, achieve hemostasis, and maintain safety standards following ALARA principles.
Additional responsibilities involve using adjunctive tools (e.g., IVUS, FFR, Impella), assisting with complex procedures such as PCI, pacemaker insertions, and cerebrovascular interventions, and training new staff.
QualificationsQualifications include ARRT registration, radiologic technologist licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS within one year.
Skills RequiredSkills required are technical proficiency, attention to detail, patient communication, adaptability for variable shifts, and the ability to work independently within a team.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation ranges from $35.62 to $61.27 per hour, with benefits offered.
