Role: SAP EWM Consultant (Lead/Architect)

Normal, IL (Onsite)
Looking for an experienced (12+ years) SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant to support an automotive customer’s warehouse and logistics operations at the Normal, IL manufacturing facility. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end warehouse management processes integrated with SAP S/4
HANA and SAP logistics modules.
This role plays a key part in supporting automotive / EV manufacturing, ensuring efficient inbound, outbound, internal warehouse movements, and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and support SAP EWM processes, including:
- Internal warehouse movements
- Physical Inventory & Cycle Counting
- Warehouse structure (storage types, bins, activity areas)
- Packaging specifications, handling units
- Warehouse process types & layouts
- Integrate SAP EWM with:
- SAP SD (Outbound delivery & shipping)
- SAP PP / P2P (Production supply & staging)
- Collaborate with plant, warehouse, and supply chain teams onsite
- Prepare functional specifications and work with technical/ABAP teams
- Support UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
- Troubleshoot and resolve EWM-related production and warehouse issues
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, safety, and operational standards
