Data Analyst

Illinois State University is hiring an Extra Help Data Analyst to provide analytical and reporting support for enterprise data initiatives. The role involves dashboard development, data validation, and business intelligence solutions to support institutional decision‑making and operational continuity.

• Provide support for enterprise reporting, dashboard development, and analytics initiatives during organizational transition and application implementation.
• Use business intelligence software including Cognos, Anaplan, and TM1.
• Maintain continuity of operations and support data and reporting needs across campus stakeholders.
• Requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum five years of experience in ETL, business intelligence, data analytics, and leading large‑scale BI or data warehousing projects.
• Analyze and interpret business and management needs and requirements.
• Hourly pay rate of $60.00.
• Work up to 10 hours per week, with a maximum of 900 total hours for Extra Help employees.
• Position is part of the Finance and Planning division, Office of Institutional Effectiveness department.
• Role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without university sponsorship.
