Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Assembler*
* Adecco Staffing is currently assisting a local client in hiring a Assembler in Normal, IL. We are looking for an ideal candidate with manufacturing or mechanical experience, team-oriented mindset, and reliable work ethic.

** Role Summary*
* In this role, you will assemble mechanical components according to customer specifications and work instructions while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Assemble mechanical parts per work instructions and customer specifications

+ Inspect parts and identify defects Inspect assembled components and identify defects or quality issues

+ Operate hand tools and basic assembly equipment safely and effectively

+ Read and follow production labels, work instructions, and standard operating procedures

+ Follow all safety and quality procedures

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area

+ Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership

** Preferred Background*
* + High School Diploma or GED required

+ Manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred

+ Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions

+ Strong attention to detail and quality

+ Team-oriented mindset and reliable work ethic

** Physical Requirements*
* + Ability to stand between 8 and 10 hours per day and walk up to 5 hours per day

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance

+ Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and fine finger dexterity

+ Ability to stoop, reach, push, and pull as needed

+ Good vision (including color vision), hearing, and speaking ability

** Pay Details:**  $18.00 to $18.50 per hour
