Town of Normal Water Department seeks a Plant Operator I to operate a lime‑soda water softening treatment plant and ensure continued safe water supply. Responsibilities include data collection, adjusting chemical feed equipment, and maintaining process control for a 24‑hour operation.
Ideal candidates will work independently, interpret meters and charts, and gain Class C Public Water Supply Operator certification within two years. Evening, night, and holiday shifts are required.
