The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement. This role provides leadership to production personnel, coordinates workflow, resolves operational challenges, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor.
salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year

- Lead and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and scheduling objectives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to promote accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.
- Foster a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards.
- Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize recurring problems.
- Verify that operating procedures, work instructions, and quality standards are consistently followed.
- Track production metrics and prepare shift reports highlighting performance, downtime, quality concerns, and operational improvements.
- Partner with maintenance, quality, engineering, and warehouse teams to resolve production challenges and improve overall plant performance.
- Support employee training initiatives, including onboarding, cross-training, and ongoing skill development.
- Manage staffing assignments to ensure appropriate coverage and balanced workloads throughout the shift.
