Automotive Seat Assembler – 2nd Shift
Location: Normal, IL
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM–12:00 AM
We are hiring Automotive Seat Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team in Normal, IL.
This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals interested in automotive assembly, production, and manufacturing
. No previous automotive assembly experience is required. Training is provided.
Employees will assemble vehicle seating components while following work instructions, meeting production goals, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Assemble automotive seats and seating components according to work instructions.
- Install seat covers, foam, frames, hardware, and other components.
- Use hand tools and power tools as required.
- Follow established assembly processes and production procedures.
- Perform basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Identify and report quality issues or defective components.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
- Assist with other production duties as assigned.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Automotive assembly experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
- Reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work overtime or adjusted schedules based on production needs.
- Full-time opportunity
- 2nd shift: 3:00 PM–12:00 AM
- Temp-to-hire opportunity after 90 days
- Weekly pay
- No previous automotive experience required
