Summer Positions/Health Assistant 1.0
Dates and TimesJune 8 – June 26 (Monday–Friday); no school June 19
Hours8:00am – 1:00pm (5 hours; students attend 8:30–1:00)
QualificationsMust hold an Illinois RN license
Responsibilities- Able to evaluate and make decisions based on assessments and nursing judgment.
- Able to follow through independently with appropriate care as needed.
- Should have knowledge of and be able to perform (but not limited to): GTube feedings, basic first aid, medication administration, CPR, monitoring vital signs, suctioning, oxygen administration, and catheterizations.
- Should have knowledge of and be able to perform (but not limited to): basic first aid, medication administration, CPR, and general medical clinic duties.
