Join our dynamic team at Bickford Senior Living as a Wellness Nurse! The Wellness Nurse supports resident care within the branch, ensuring that residents’ daily medication needs are met with compassion and respect.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately follow the resident Medication Administration Record (MAR) to ensure medications are given according to physician orders.
  • Understand and follow the “Six rights of medication administration” and Bickford’s policies and procedures regarding medication management.
  • Use the eMAR system for medication administration.
  • Communicate appropriately with clinical leadership for clarification and direction regarding resident medication administration and care.
  • Provide direct resident care and supervise resident care work of non‑licensed team members and other areas of the branch as appropriate.
  • Lead by demonstrating the Bickford Mission “Whatever it Takes” to all team members on shift.
Qualifications
  • Active license as an LPN or Registered Nurse in good standing.
  • Willingness to take additional training or education required by specific states.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to utilize or learn Bickford’s eMAR system for medication administration.
