Position Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) – Seasonal Immunization Program

We are seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide seasonal immunization services in a retail pharmacy setting. This role focuses on delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care while administering vaccines, educating patients, and supporting pharmacy operations during the peak vaccination season.

  November 30, 2026 (assignment may conclude earlier based on business needs)

  Part-time (20 hours/week) or full-time (40 hours/week) opportunities available

• Administer seasonal vaccines in accordance with state regulations and established clinical protocols.
• Assess patient eligibility and review medical and vaccination history.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions following immunization and provide appropriate care as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely immunization documentation.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.

• Engage with customers to promote available vaccination services.
• Support outreach initiatives by identifying and contacting eligible patients.
• Contact patients with upcoming vaccination appointments to encourage receipt of additional recommended vaccines during the same visit.
• Assist the pharmacy team with immunization-related operational tasks as needed.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
• Previous clinical nursing and/or immunization experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible seasonal schedule.
• Willingness to travel to nearby locations within a designated service area, if needed.

Retail pharmacy setting with the possibility of supporting multiple nearby locations based on operational needs.

Hours will vary based on business demand and require scheduling flexibility. Typical operating hours are between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with both half-day and full-day shifts available. Some locations have longer hours.

$47.78 per hour, paid weekly (W2 contract). Mileage reimbursement provided for eligible travel beyond the designated home location in accordance with the current IRS standard mileage rate.
